PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Bauxite Handling Plant O & M along with the Raw material Yard management at Vedanta Refinery complex, Lanjigarh, Odisha; 3rd year operations in progress.
Round the clock Operation & maintenance of the Bauxite Handling system of the Refinery plant together with the associated facilities and auxiliaries including apron feeders, stacker, bucket wheel reclaimer, crushers, screens, dust collection system, DFDSS system, Plain water dust suppression system, magnetic separator, belt weigh scale, hoists , winch ,reclaiming system, secondary crushing unit , all belt conveyors, transfer towers, Auto sampler and annual Hopper feeding systems.

We have deployed a fleet of Material Handling Equipments (MHE) at the Raw material yard namely:
Dozers = 2 nos; Excavators = 2 nos; Hyvas = 2 nos; Bobcats = 2 nos; Trailers = 1 no; Hydra = 1 no. We have a dedicated Team of resources supervising the yard management work and we are handling almost 5 Lacs MT of bauxite at the yard every month.

IMPORTANT FACTS

• Average monthly Red mud handling qty = 4.5 – 5.0 Lacs MT
• Milestone achievement in production till date = 22,822 MT
