PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Plant housekeeping & covering of tarpaulin in the Raw material Yard during monsoon period.

IMPORTANT FACTS

• Total RM stock is covered with tarpaulin to ensure no water seepage into stockpile.
• Tarpaulin cover on RM Stock piles is removed during feeding (reclaim) & stock dumping by trucks as per EIC instructions.
• After completion of feeding or stock dumping, immediately the Team back covers the left-out stock in yard.
• Storage, safety and prevention of theft of tarpaulins at Plant site.
• Collecting the uncovered tarpaulin at safe place without contaminating with RM.
• Segregation of spilled bauxite is done besides conveyors using various cleaning hand tools.
• Cleaning of equipment and its various parts such as conveyors, reclaimer, pulley area, feeding zones, receiving chutes, skirt sealing systems, screens, crushers.
• Manual dechoking, descaling of discharge chutes, take-up area.
• Scheduled cleaning of drains, clearing of any obstructions if any.
• Manual clearing of any choked equipment viz. crushers, screens.
